Product Introduction

Application

PVC/XLPE copper power cables are used to transmit and distribute power in the power transmission and distribution system. It is generally applied to fields including power, construction, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry, and communication in the complete replacement of oil immersed paper insulated power cables and in partial replacement of PVC-insulated power cables.

  • CU Cable Meaning: XLPE cable / Copper conductor power cable
  • Low voltage Copper armored XLPE power cable includes the following:
  • Products mainly comply with IEC 60502 standards.
  • Can be produced according to OEM requirements and other standards, such as BS standard, DIN standard, ASTM standard, etc.
  • 0.6/1KV kV multi-cores / copper conductor / XLPE insulation / copper tape or copper wire screen / galvanized steel wire armored / PVC copper cable or PE sheath power cable.

Installation

  • Can be installed in a duct, tray, or direct burial.
  • Recommended to follow the installation instructions indicated by the Local Electric Code.

  • Other standards such as BS, DIN, and ICEA upon request.

Installation Guidelines

  • Installation temperature should not be over 20℃. If the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the cable should be preheated.
  • The bending radius of the cable should not be less than 8 times.
  • After installation, the cable should withstand a voltage test for 15min. 3.5kv D.C.

Packing And Shipping

  • Supplied in wooden reels, corrugated boxes, and coils.
  • Cable ends are sealed with BOPP self-adhesive tape and non-hygroscopic sealing caps.
  • Required marking shall be printed with a weather-proof material on the outsides of the drum according to the customer's requirement.
