Product Construction
The AAAC Conductor Tree Wire is a high-performance conductor designed for overhead power lines with potential tree or debris contact. It is available in single, two, or three-layer thermoset coverings:
- Single Layer: TR-HDXLPE – Track Resistant High Density Cross-Linked Polyethylene
- Two Layer: XLPE/TR-HDXLPE – Cross-Linked Polyethylene with Track Resistant Outer Layer
- Three Layer: SCS/XLPE/TR-HDXLPE – Thermoset Semi-Conductive Conductor Shield with XLPE and Track Resistant Outer Layer
All designs meet ICEA S-121-733 standards, rated for:
- 90°C normal service
- 130°C emergency overload
- 250°C short circuit conditions
Color options: Black or Gray
