Product Introduction
AAAC Conductor Description & Application
Detail Description or Construction
Conductor
The conductor is a bare concentric-lay-stranded conductor manufactured from round aluminum alloy 6201-T81 wires. It is constructed with a central core surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires, providing excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
Application

AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor) is mainly used for overhead power transmission and distribution lines where higher mechanical strength than AAC is required, along with better corrosion resistance compared to ACSR.
Typical applications include:
- Urban and rural overhead distribution networks
- Coastal and highly corrosive environments
- Medium and high-voltage transmission lines
- Mountainous and long-span power lines
Installation
AAAC cable is designed for aerial installation. It is recommended that installation practices comply with the requirements of the local electrical code or equivalent standards to ensure personnel safety and maintain product integrity. Proper handling and installation help prevent damage caused by incorrect installation procedures.
